Good Friday

  • First Baptist Church 1501 State Street Augusta, KS, 67010 United States (map)

You are invited to a scriptural portrayal presented from the gospel writer Matthew’s perspective. This Biblical account of the events leading to Jesus’ crucifixion invites our senses to engage in Christ’s life, from the time of the Jewish leaders’ plot to kill Jesus to His crucifixion and burial.  The victorious resurrection of Easter happens, but not without the messy, costly part of the passion.  You will celebrate Easter with a renewed sense of appreciation and gratitude for the gift God provided to us through His Son.
